The Maritime Cybersecurity Institute is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to addressing the urgent need for robust cybersecurity measures in the commercial maritime sector. With an ever increasing dependence on digital technologies and interconnected systems, the maritime sector has shown itself as being vulnerable to cyber threats and attacks.

Our vision is a world class Innovation Engine for the maritime transportation ecosystem focused on cybersecurity education, research, experimentation, investment, and commercialization of products with regional and national impacts.

The Institute will offer comprehensive cybersecurity training programs and research initiatives to equip maritime professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to safeguard critical maritime infrastructure and assets from cyber risks. Through collaboration with maritime ecosystem experts, government agencies, and academic institutions, the Institute will lead the industry in developing innovative solutions and best practices to enhance cybersecurity resilience in the maritime domain. By fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and promoting collaboration among stakeholders, the Maritime Cybersecurity Institute is at the forefront of protecting maritime operations and ensuring the safe and secure functioning of the global maritime network.
